I was so excited to talk with Beverly Mahone about the different transitions of life.
As we travel our path in life, we come across times were we move into new stages of our lives. As we transition into change, there maybe resistance, even fear of traveling into the unknown.
We all have times where we are in transition, it happens in all stages of life, from the monumental to the small.How do we get through these transitions of life?
What can we do to find acceptance within ourselves to make the transitions smoother?
Beverly and I talked about the different transitions that we go through in our lives from starting over after a divorce, to becoming a parent to menopause.
Tips for getting through the rough spots in transition:
- Finding strength within
- Embrace the new chapter in your life
- Taking care of yourself (pay attention to your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
- Finding a support system (whether getting together with your friends or finding professional support)
- Using gratitude and humor – after all how bad can life be when your laughing!
